Granola Pie Recipes
Ice Cream Pie
Shopping List:1/3 cup butter or margarine
¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 ½ cups Nature’s Hand granola
1 quart ice cream
What to do:
In medium saucepan, heat butter and brown sugar until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in granola. Reserve about 1/3 cup of mixture; press remaining mixture on bottom and sides of 9 inch pie pan. Cool. Spoon ice cream into pie shell. Sprinkle with reserved granola mixture. Freeze until served. If desired, serve with favorite ice cream topping or sweetened fruit. (9 inch pie)
Combinations to try:
Vanilla ice cream and strawberries; Coffee ice cream and chocolate sauce; pecan ice cream and rum sauce.
